So my first question is, does that make sense? Has anyone else seen similar issues? Hopefully that's causing the other issues. However given the number of issues, and that the internal ECU error shows up three times, I'm thinking that the airbag module has gone bad. I know the occupancy sensor is a pretty common issue, as is the slipring taking out the driver's airbag. I assume it's just the first one since there is an odd number of total codes.Ģ0 - Sensor, side airbag, left, Line faultġ2 - Sensor, side airbag, left, data lineġ4 - Sensor, side airbag, left, data fault It's unclear to me if only the very first one is the table or if it goes table - code, table - code, the whole way. I know the first code means the table to look at, and the next code is the actual issue. I've done a lot of searching and can't find anyone with this number of codes: ![]() When I plugged it in, there were a TON of codes. The guy I just bought my 1998 328is from told me the airbag light just needed to be reset and he didn't want to pay a dealer to do it (I should never trust a seller.)Īnyways, I bought the B800 tool to see if I could reset it.
